Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch (23×33 cm) baking pan.

2. Prepare the cake base:

In a large bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, 1 egg, and ½ cup melted butter.

Mix until well combined.

Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan to form the crust.

3. Make the filling:

In another bowl, beat together cream cheese and pumpkin puree until smooth.

Add the eggs, vanilla extract, and melted butter. Beat until combined.

Add cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, and powdered sugar. Mix until smooth and creamy.

4. Assemble:

Pour the pumpkin mixture over the cake base and spread evenly.

5. Bake:

Bake for about 45–50 minutes.

The center should still be slightly gooey — don’t overbake!

6. Cool & Serve:

Let the cake cool completely.

Dust with extra powdered sugar or serve with whipped cream if desired.
